TErms of service
Memberships
- Members are individuals who have purchased a class/group exercise package from SCB
- Memberships include 4, 8 or unlimited use(s) of SCB classes
- Other classes are not necessarily included in SCB memberships, and will typically carry an additional cost.
- Memberships are charged on a subscription basis and renew automatically every calendar month.
Bookings
Classes
- Classes must be booked in advance by members.
- Non-members may attend classes at their individual cost, providing they have completed a minimum of STEP 1 and STEP 2. STEP 3 is preferred but not mandatory.
- Classes are subject to availably on a first come first served basis.
- Members are responsible for managing their bookings with SCB, via the booking page on the SCB website.
- Class ticket transfers are allowed with a minimum of 24 hours notice before the class time.
- Cancellations and no-shows will result in the loss of the session.
Private Hire
- Bookings for private sessions are for 1 or more people.
- These are subject to instructor availability.
- Upon the invoice being raised, a minimum of £45 must be paid as a non-refundable deposit to secure the booking.
- If no deposit is made within 48 hours of the invoice being raised, the booking will remain open to changes, cancellation, or overridden.
Cancellations and Refunds
- Members and non-members are entitled to transfer class tickets with a minimum of 24 hours notice.
- Non-member bookings are not eligible for refunds.
- Once booked by members, sessions must be used within 30 days, and are not eligible for refunds.
- Once booked by non-members, session must be used within 7 days, and are not eligible for refunds.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of a class are not eligible for transfer.
- If SCB needs to cancel a session, refunds for this session may be issued at the discretion of the owner.
Sessions
- Participants are encouraged to arrive a minimum of 5 minutes before the class time.
- Arrivals more than 5 minutes after the start time may result in forfeiture of the session.
- Participants who miss the warm up will not be granted entry to the class for health and safety reasons.
- SCB accepts no responsibility for losses incurred from late arrivals.
Health and Safety
- It is the responsibility of all participants to ensure they are in good health and suitable to take part in the session, while at the SCB studio.
- All participants understand that participation in exercise of any form carries an inherent risk to health or injury.
- Instructors will take all reasonable steps to ensure that participants are in good health before the session commences.
- All participants must disclose any information relating to risks to health or injuries prior to the commencement of the session, or anything that may prevent them from taking part.
- SCB will not be liable for any injuries, accidents or damages incurred on the premises or during sessions.
- All participants agree to follow all safety instructions given by the instructors.
- Instructors are identified by a black SCB T-shirt or vest with “Instructor”, “Coach” or “Head Coach on the back.
- Participants are encouraged to take all reasonable steps to stay hydrated and fit to participate, including, but not limited to, taking part in the warm up, stretching prior to the class, following instructions, completing health and safety checks on the equipment they are using, completing supplementary induction classes if they feel they require more tuition.
Terms of Service
- SCB reserves the right to make amendments or changes to the Terms and Conditions at any time.
- Updates will be available at the SCB studio.
- Changes to the SCB Terms and Conditions are effective immediately.
- SCB reserves the right to terminate or suspend a membership, booking privileges or private hire appointments if any participants is found to be in breach of these terms and conditions, or engages any misconduct of any sort.
- SCB operates a zero tolerance policy on physical or verbal abuse towards staff, manipulation, coercion, or slander.
- Any person found to be in contempt and causing any form of abuse, including protected characteristics, manipulating staff, coercing staff, slandering, or causing any form of damage to staff property, the business property, business or business interests of SCB will be asked to leave, not return and have reasonable action taken against them.
- SCB is bound by the Data Protection Act of 1998 and General Data Protection Regulation of 2016.
By booking sessions at the SCB studio, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the terms and conditions, and terms of service set out by SCB in this document.
